- Attitude (geometry) as orientation of a geometric figure, such as a line, plane or rigid body
- Attitude The orientation in space of an axis (straight line), segment of axis, directed axis, or segment of directed axis (vector) is defined by the angles it forms with the axes of a reference frame, or other equivalent methods, such as direction cosines as strike or dip of a layer of rock in geology
- Attitude Angle of attack is a term used in fluid dynamics to describe the angle between a reference line on a lifting body (often the chord line of an airfoil) and the vector representing the relative motion between the lifting body and the fluid through which it is moving. Angle of attack is the angle between the lifting body's reference line and the of a wing or aircraft relative to airflow.
