Worldwide, violence is used as a tool of manipulation and also is an area of concern for law and culture which take attempts to suppress and stop it. The word violence covers a broad spectrum. It can vary from between a physical altercation between two beings where a slight injury may be the outcome to war and genocide where millions may die as a result. Think about it: Businesses spend billions of dollars in advertising every year. Not because they THINK it works, they KNOW it works! And what tools do they use to grab people's attention? Sex and violence. Advertisers realize that one ad may not affect behavior. Instead, they rely on the cumulative impact of years of indoctrination. We are ALL affected by it. The key is , do we recognize that fact and try to monitor what we feed our minds and hearts?
